Dear Kelechi is a novella in epistolary form. It is a long letter written by a woman to her estranged childhood friend who is now mentally unwell. It explores the themes of girlhood and womanhood, the ruinous effects of men and patriarchy, and importantly, the stigma of childlessness on a young woman in Nigeria. It is a story of nostalgia and the will to triumph over seemingly insurmountable adversities.
